D'oh! You're absolutely right, Luis. I love it when
people pay attention to the details.
I did not update the README files when I just copied the IBSR over to NITRC. I don't know what to do about this inconsistency. I don't have authority to change the "license" since it was created at Massachusetts General Hospital. It costs so much to produce manual anatomical labels, the PIs that Dave Kennedy convinced to release data were mainly concerned that doing so might come back to hurt their ongoing research. As the keeper of the IBSR web site, I always said yes anytime anybody asked if they could publish because the goal of the IBSR was to encourage academic uses of the data.
