Dear NITRC community
I need help for the following problem:
I wasn to process an image with both FSL and MRtrix.
I have a input.nii which I convert with mrconvert in .mif, and
after processing it with MRtrix i re.use mrconvert to have a .nii
file
so in the last step I do "mrconvert output.mif -datatype UInt8
output.nii".
By looking at the imput.nii file and at the output .nii I find the
same header (with mrinfo).
Nevertheless, FSL cannot read the output.nii file.
What is the problem, if I have the same info from both the input
and the output files?

Hi Elisa,
Probably you already solved this problem by now. Anyway, I had the
same thing, but solved it by doing an additonal step after
converting from .mif to .nii:
fslchfiletype NIFTI output.nii output.nii
That results in a useful header.
