NYU dataset clarification
Hello!
Under "New York (Milham, M.P./Castellanos, F.X.)":
NewYork_a_part1.tar (n = 84 [43M/41F]; ages: 7-49; TR = 2; # slices = 39; # timepoints = 192)
NewYork_a_part2.tar (n = 84 [43M/41F]; ages: 7-49; TR = 2; # slices = 39; # timepoints = 192)
But there are 84 subjects total for part1 and part2. so how are these divided (n, M/F, ages)?
Cheers,
@rno

RE: NYU dataset clarification
Hi Arno,
the dataset is just split in two to keep the files a bit smaller in size. You have to download both to get the 84 subjects. They were 'randomly' divided in a first and second part (based on subject numbers). As such it is a bit hard to give you individual breakdowns for each part.
I hope you don't mind :)

RE: NYU dataset clarification
Thank you, Maarten. I am preparing a paper for publication where I analyzed just part1, so it would be nice to know what the numbers are for this half of the dataset. Is this possible?
Cheers,
@rno

RE: NYU dataset clarification
Hi Arno,
yes definitely possible! Just take the NYU_a_demographics.txt file and calculate the age and gender for the subjects you included in your analysis. That txt file should be included in part 1, but has the info for all subjects.
do you have that file?
