NEURO-BUREAU is handing out 3d glasses at HBM
The Neuro Bureau would like to announce a new initiative
to encourage the use of 3D stereoscopic images for visualizing
functional and structural neuroimages. In support
of this initiative, the Neuro Bureau will be distributing
red/cyan (anaglyph) 3D glasses at the 2011 meeting of the
Organization for Human Brain Mapping. We are encouraging all
HBM participants who have a talk or poster at the meeting to
add a stereoscopic image to their presentations.
Dr. Gonzalo Rojas, the leader of this initiative, has written a tutorial on how to create these images using 3D Slicer (http://www.nitrc.org/plugins/mwiki/index.php/neurobureau:StereoImages). If you add a stereoscopic image to your presentation/poster please tell us about it on the stereoscopic image forum (http://www.nitrc.org/forum/forum.php?for...), so that we can come by and see your images!
