Ann Arbor (Monk, C.S./Seidler, R.D./Peltier)
Hello all,

The Ann Arbor (a) dataset has the following description:

AnnArbor_a.tar (n = 25 [22M/3F]; ages: 13-40; TR = 1; # slices = 40; # timepoints = 295

I was wondering if there is a typo in the TR (1 second). This seems to be an unusually fast acquistion.

I located the following paper by Monk et al, and was wondering if the dataset is based on it:

Monk, C.S., Peltier, S.J., Wiggins, J.L., Weng, S.-J., Carrasco, M., Risi, S., Lord, C.
Abnormalities of intrinsic functional connectivity in autism spectrum disorders,
(2009) NeuroImage, 47 (2), pp. 764-772.

The paper says that a  TR of 2 seconds was used (also 40 slices, ~300 time points).

The (b) dataset is also listed as having a 1s TR.

Thanks.

Hi Igor,

Yes, a TR of 1 with those sequence settings sounds unlikely. I will investigate and report back to you.

Thanks for your question!

Hi Igor,

as you can see in this post: http://www.nitrc.org/forum/forum.php?thread_id=3169&forum_id=1735

you were right, the tr of 1 sec. was incorrect in the image headers and on the dataset specifications. Thank you for bringing this to our attention! We have corrected all datasets and info files accordingly.

Best,
Maarten
