Open HDF5 Files
Hi,
I am learning how to use the powerful software Vaa3D. And I am sorry that I cannot open my HDF5 files (with suffix .h5). Could you help me out?
Some information is listed.
1. I am using Vaa3D_V3.601_Windows_MSVC_64bit.
2. Tiff files can be opened.
3. I tried to use TeraFly v2.5.11 with Open HDF5 Image (3-4D) to open files, but it always caused crash of the software.
4. I also tried to use TeraConverter v2.5.11, but HDF5 option cannot be found.
5. I read relative files carefully, inlcding v3d_manual_v2031_simple.pdf and the paper published on Nature Protocols in 2014.
Thanks in advance.
Ji

RE: Open HDF5 Files
The main Vaa3D 'open' function does
not support HDF5 file. The only part supported is in
TeraFly.

RE: Open HDF5 Files
The best way is to use TeraConverter
to generate the specific compatible file formats.
Not sure about the 'crash' you talked about, but you may want to take a look at the TeraFly src code to figure out why the open file exception is not catched for your file.
