I'm pleased to announce the immediate availability of the IXI Aging DTI Template, release 2.0, for download. This new release substantially enhances the original template to provide out-of-the-box support for applying tract-specific analysis [1,2] to both healthy aging and dementia studies.

The template is constructed from 51 normal elderly subjects (65-83 years old, 21 males and 30 females) drawn from the IXI brain database developed jointly by Imperial College of Science Technology & Medicine and University College London. It has been optimized for use with DTI-TK's registration and spatial normalization pipeline, as well as now the tract-specific analysis [1,2].
