UniqueID
Hi everybody,
I lost track of why we need an UniqueID metadata for each data array... I can't figure out anymore why we need it on top of SurfaceID and SubjectID. Thanks in advance to anybody that can refresh my memory.

RE: UniqueID
Hi Olivier,
If I recall correctly, the UniqueID was propagated to the data array level because one could potentially refer to these array from elsewhere. For example, say a surface has a set of coordinates for each node. An example of that would be a surface with an evolving geometry. You could refer to that set of coordinate data arrays by specifying a set of UniqueIDs.
cheers,
ziad
