How did you add the SPHARM-PDM extension manually and what error do you get, can you be a bit more specific?

Possibly, you get an error that the ShapeAnalysiModule does not find the vtk libraries?

Re Slicer 4.4, we are working on getting the distribution up into 4.4., in the mean time, a better workaround would be to use Slicer 4.3.2 for SPHARM-PDM
