Streamline tracking in multi-tensor DTI
Hi --
Is it possible to use the "track" tool for streamline tracking in multi-tensors (i.e., 2 or 3 tensors per voxel) DTI data? The documentation is a bit ambiguous, but this section from the "track" man page suggests that I can set the number of tensors per pixel:
=====
-maxcomponents
The maximum number of tensor components in a voxel. This determines the size of the input file and does not say anything about the voxel classification. The default is 2 if the input model is multitensor and 1 if the input model is dt.
=====
But then it seems track doesn't actually like 2 or 3 tensor data, as it terminates saying
SEVERE: Exception in thread "main" class misc.LoggedException: Wrong number of tensor components (3) specified for input model dt
I'd be grateful for an authoritative comment on what's possible here.
Thanks!
