Yep, there's a problem there. It seems
SDM is trying to use libtiff 5.0.5, while it was compiled to use
5.2.0 Moreover, I suspect Matlab's version of libtiff is somehow
'customised' (I had several incompatibility problems in the
past).
I think best course of action would be trying to install libtiff from CentOS. Unfortunately, I have no experience on CentOS and I can't help you with it...
