RE: Validation of neuron tracing in V3D
when you right-click a neuron loaded in the V3D's 3d viewer, you
will see a pop-up menu showing the distance between neurons. That
is, if you currently have multiple neurons in the same 3d viewer,
V3D can compute the SSD distance for you.
The source code is in v3d's implementation.

I have read the paper “V3D enables realtime 3D
visualization and quantitative analysis of large-scale biological
image data sets”, learning that you used the significant spatial
distance (SSD) between two reconstructions to validate the tracing
result.
But I didn't find any source code implementation for the validation method, so why?[/userquote]
