RE: can we compile the current version of v3d?
It looks like you may need to install the ubuntu "qt4-demos"
package. I have qt4-demos installed on my ubuntu machines,
and I have the directories:
brunsc@ubuntu:~$ ls /usr/lib64/qt4
demos examples plugins
brunsc@ubuntu:~$ ls /usr/lib64/qt4
demos examples plugins
