RE: Best Practices For Your NITRC Project

We hope people will use the Reviews/Ratings available for each project. This
is a great way to let others in the community learn from your experiences with
each resource. These reviews are anonymous.

It has been requested that the resource developers have the opportunity to communicate
answers, provide rebuttals, or otherwise communicate with the anonymous reviewers,
while not breaking the anonymity.

While NITRC works on a solution to this issue, it is important to note that
non-anonymous discussion can happen in the forums (open discussion) and
trackers (feature requests) to converse about features and functionality.
This is one way for tool developers to provide rebuttal and updates related to
issues raised in the anonymous reviews.

So, from the 'best practices' point of view, users should
use the Reviews/Ratings functionality, and be willing to engage in discussion
about possible solutions and work arounds to issues that they raise.  Tool
developers should be encouraged provide commentary on issues raised in the
Reviews/Ratings in their forums for the benefit of other users.
