Do you think it would be possible for me to convert the 3d-slicer models (*.stl, *.vtk) into the binary 3D-image volumes needed?
It would be a very easy way to use 3dslicer to produce models of the isolated subcortical structures based on the freesurfer surface-data.
(I have tried to convert the 3d-surface models into binary volumes using the std. modules in 3d-slicer; which allows me to convert the models into .gipl.gz-files. But the outputfiles doesn't look quite like to files in the tutorial-material. I am currently trying to find a conversion tool, which can do the conversion correct.)
