KAIBA release Posted By: Babak Ardekani - Nov 13, 2015Tool/Resource: Automatic Registration Toolbox The Automatic Registration Toolbox (ART) project has released “kaiba” a program that can be used to fully automatically measure the structural integrity of the hippocampus from 3D T1-weighted MRI scans. “kaiba” computes a normalized hippocampal integrity (HI) measure on a single scan (cross-sectional mode) or on a pair of scans (longitudinal mode). HI has been found to be reduced in neurodegenerative diseases and its rate of decline may be used to assess disease progression. |
