Release of KAIBA Version 2.0 Posted By: Babak Ardekani - Aug 25, 2016Tool/Resource: Automatic Registration Toolbox The Automatic Registration Toolbox (ART) project has released “kaiba version 2.0” a program that can be used to fully automatically measure the volumetric integrity of the hippocampus from 3D T1-weighted MRI scans. “kaiba” computes a normalized hippocampal volumetric integrity (HVI) index on a single scan (cross-sectional mode) or on a pair of scans (longitudinal mode). HVI has been found to be reduced in neurodegenerative diseases and its rate of decline may be used to assess disease progression. |
