Qt 4.7.1 (and 4.7.0 works for V3D on Mac)
One previous note on the build compatibility of V3D with Mac machines was that >Qt 4.5.2 there is a libtiff linking error. This error was not present for other operating systems like Linux (redhat, fedora, ubuntu) or Windows (7, XP). Only on Mac.

Now with the new Qt 4.7.1 (and Qt 4.7.0 as well), we have tested and happily report that this issue is gone!

Therefore, from now now, we will build the Mac binary version using the Qt 4.7.1, no longer Qt 4.5.2. All plugins will be [re-]built accordingly.

RE: Qt 4.7.1 (and 4.7.0 works for V3D on Mac)
On my Snow Leopard laptop it produced an error, but after I redid it in the way "build.macx -B -m -T -j4" then the previous tiff compatibility error went away. It seems -T makes the difference.

So from now on we should use Qt 4.7.1 (but not Qt 4.5.2) to build V3D.
