RE: It does not work! Error using ==> cat
Hi Cristina,

This error typically indicates an 'empty' condition (e.g. if you enter 0 as duration for some condition for some subject), could you check in the Setup->Conditions tab whether this could be it? (otherwise please send me your conn_*.mat file and I will be happy to take a look at that to see if I can spot the problem here).

Also please remember to use the patch file that I attached in the previous mail (simply save this file in the folder where you have the conn12.p version, you should need to overwrite a file with the same name in that folder)

Best
Alfonso

ps. and sorry about the gui visibility issues, these had been resolved some time back for the new version, if these are really bothersome I will track down the ticket for this and make a patch for version 12 as well, let me know.

I downloaded conn12.p and run the whiole process from matlab7. The setup is ok, but then in the preprocessing a different error appears immediately. Different from the one that I had before >(the out of memory). The error now is this:

??? Error using ==> fwrite
Invalid byte count to skip.

Error in ==> conn_init_vol at 12
fwrite(handle,[0],'float',4*(sum(V.size.Nv)*V.size.Nt-1));

                Yout{ncondition}=conn_init_vol(Yout{ncondition});

conn_process('preprocessing_gui');

Error in ==> conn_menumanager at 112
feval(MM.MENU{n0}.callback{n1}{1},MM.MENU{n0}.callback{n1}{2:end});

??? Error while evaluating figure WindowButtonUpFcn.

Really, I'm quite lost! I have also noticed I have problems entering the data because white I write appears in white and cannot be seen. I have to select it in order to check if it is OK. I am not sure whether it is an installation problem. I particularly have problems entering the band-pass filtering.
Thank you,
Cristina
