Hi Cristina,
What version of the conn toolbox are you using? I believe this error has already been fixed for the release conn12.p. Let me know whether updating to this version seems to fix your problem (you can find this version at http://www.nitrc.org/projects/conn).
I would typically recommend updating to the latest version (currently conn13.i) but this newer version is not backwards-compatible with matlab6.5 (that was released in 2003) only with matlab 7.4 or above (that was released in 2007). We are hoping to extend the level of backwards-compatibility of version 13 soon, but that will likely only go up to 7.1 (that was released in 2005) since that is the level of compatibility that SPM8 offers. In any way, if you have the chance to run your analyses on a matlab newer than 2007 then feel free to directly update to conn 13 since that will give you all the latest batch of new additions and patches to the toolbox.
