RE: fMRI scans in multiband imaging dataset
For the Visual Checkerboard task data, the paradigm got changed at some point during the project. Some subjects have 200 volumes for 645 TR scans and 82 volumes for 1400 TR  scans but the others have 240 and 98 volumes, respectively.

for subjects with 200/82 volumes, the paradigm below is used:

block_types = [ FIXATION, CHECKER, FIXATION, CHECKER, FIXATION, CHECKER ]
block_durations = [ 20.0,     20.0,    20.0,     20.0,    20.0,     20.0 ] # seconds
for subjects with 240/96 volumes, the paradigm below is used:
block_types = [ FIXATION, CHECKER, FIXATION, CHECKER, FIXATION, CHECKER, FIXATION ]
block_durations = [ 20.0,     20.0,    20.0,     20.0,    20.0,     20.0,    20.0 ] # seconds
In this case, there is one fixation block appended.

About some people have 98 time points and some have 97, please read the release notes of the dataset. The release not can be found at the data release webpage (http://fcon_1000.projects.nitrc.org/indi...), scroll all the way down and you will see the download link.
Let me know if you have other questions!
