I am using a different program to get my aCompCor components. I have them as a .mat file. Can I just add them as a 1st-level covariate and not add the WM and CSF components in the denoising step?
Hi John,
Yes, of course, you may enter those .mat files (one per subject and session/run) in Setup.Covariates (1st-level) as a new first-level covariate (e.g. named 'acompcor'), and then, in the Denoising tab remove the 'CSF' and 'White Matter' factors from the list of potential confounds and add there instead the new 'acompcor' factor.
Hope this helps
Alfonso
