Hello,
I really love using CONN and I understand the role it plays in functional connectivity analyses but I am having a really hard time understanding how I can incorperate participant behavioural scores into the analysis to investigate what intrinsic networks in the participants' functional connectivity matrix are associated with their performance on visual perception? What is the interaction?
I conduced an ROI-ROI analysis in CONN involving 14 patients. This is a single project. I have another project including 14 controls that I will run as well once I better understand the NBS set up so that I can compare between groups. Unless I create a new project and then I will have 28 participants?
In the second-level covariates tab, I've uploaded relevant visual perception scores for each subject. For my analyses at the first level, I'm examining functional connectivity across 34 regions of interest. Now, at the second-level results, I'm facing some confusion.
I selected all subjects and highlighted visual perception. My current between subject contrast is set to "1, 0". I'm uncertain if this is the right choice. When I compute results and explore alternative settings for network-based statistics, it's showing "no significant results" with the contrast of "1, 0".
I'm unsure if there's an error in my approach or if there simply aren't significant findings. Or would it be more suitable to consider an any effects (F-test) contrast, 1 0; 0 1? (Since I am curious about their interaction).
Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I do feel lost with this analysis step.
Thank you.
