Hippocampal subfield atlas in MNI space

Hi CONN experts and Prof. Alfonso

I'm planning to analyze hippocampal seed-based functional connectivity between patients and controls.

In addition to use whole hippocampus as a seed from the Harvard-Oxford atlas provided with CONN, I want to further analyze functional connectivity of the hippocampal subfields.

Here is my query: is there a atlas for hippocampal subfield atlas in MNI space (e.g., CA1)?

I know this atlas is not provided in CONN; how can I obtain this?

Thank you in advance for your help.

RE: Hippocampal subfield atlas in MNI space

Hi MJ Kim

I personally don't know of any specific atlas for hippocampal subfields, but using an external atlas in CONN is as simple as: a) downloading your new atlas file from its source; and b) going to the Setup.ROIs tab in your CONN project and clicking on 'New' to add a new ROI, enter its desired name in the 'ROI name' field, then selecting all subjects in the 'subjects' list (assuming this is a common MNI-space atlas) and then locating your atlas file under the 'Import ROI files' list and clicking on 'Import'.

Hope this helps

Alfonso
