In the sliding window analyis, if we split the task into 10 windows; do we need to remove the effect of task condition during denoising ? Or can we skip this step and continue denoising with other confounds?

You can completely remove the effect of the task condition during the denoising process. This step is not important and you can skip it and continue denoising with other noise factors.
