error message when importing spm.mat files
Hello,
I am learning how to use this toolbox. After entering the number of subjects and sessions in basic setup, I tried to import the SPM data by specifying the SPM.mat file for each subject. I selected the appropriate SPM.mat file for each subject, but when I click on Done, it says that it can't find file *vswra[XXX].nii,6. I assume this means that it's found scans 1-5 in the first run for the first subject (label after vswra identifies), but not scan 6. When I look up the file through SPM it's there, but I can't select it from the Windows prompt provided by the gui. So, what is the problem and how can I fix it?
Thanks,
Chaleece

RE: error message when importing spm.mat files
Hi Chaleece,

Not totally sure about this one. The import process does not check each volume separately (for 4d .nii files) but instead it only checks whether the original .nii file is still located in the same folder as described in the SPM.mat file. If it gives you an error saying that it cannot find the file *vswra[XXX].nii,6 most likely this means that the file vswra[XXX].nii is not found in the original folder (perhaps it has been moved to a different folder?), and that the 6-th scan is the first one to be considered in the design described in the SPM.mat file (perhaps the first 5 scans were not included in the original SPM design?). In any way, this error should prompt a gui that asks you to select the new location of the *.nii file, so you should be able to simply go to the appropriate folder and select the corresponding *vswra[XXX].nii file. If you are going to the appropriate folder and still the file does not show up in the gui try resetting the name in the 'File name' field to "*" (without quotes) and the 'File type' field to "All files". You should then be able to see and select the appropriate file from the gui, which should allow the completion of the import process.

Let me know if this helps
Alfonso
