Creating mask in advanced mode with different
Hi WFU Pick atlas users,

I want to create a mask with different colors for different regions. For example in the attached file i want to have one color for regions (Caudate_L, caudate_R) and another different color for regions(Putamen_L, Putamen_R). Is it possible to create the above mentioned mask using WFU_Pickatlas?.

Thank you so much for your help.

RE: Creating mask in advanced mode with different
Hi Venkata,
Pickatlas uses nifti files.  Nifti files DO NOT store colors.  Colors are given in whatever program you may use to view the nifti image by applying a colormap.

That being said, the way to get different "colors" is to use the "Write Independent Regions" checkbox (just above the save option in the middle column).  However, the way you have your Region defined in the attached image would still show as one "color" as it is all grouped together.  You would need to create a region for the Caudate and one for the Putamen.

Hope this helps,
Ben
