RE: Entering data into GUI
Hi Mike,
After selecting the patient group and LSAS change covariates you should enter a between-subject contrast [0 1] (also selecting both pre- and post- conditions and entering a between-conditions contrast [-1 1]) in order to look at the association between LSAS change and intervention effect on functional connectivity. Also, if your project also includes control subjects you should make sure that your LSAS covariate has all zeros for the control subjects (the LSAS values for patients may or may not be centered for this analysis, that will not change the results).
Hope this helps
Alfonso

I was wondering if you could offer guidance as to whether I'm setting up my analysis correctly. I'd like to look at the relationship between changes symptoms and changes in connectivity pre- and post-intervention. I have 2 scans per subject (pre and post). I'm only using patients for this analysis (although I also have controls in the project).
I entered the amount of symptom change (measured by the LSAS) as a second level covariate (one value per subject). In the 2nd level results panel, I chose my patient group and LSAS [1 1], and in the condition tab I chose pre and post [-1 1]
Is that correct?
Thanks,
Mike
