RE: Aberrant FC distributions following denoising
one possibility would be limited
degrees of freedom (e.g. the timeseries is just too short to afford
the estimation and removal of such a large number of potential
confounding effects); could you perhaps check whether the effective
degrees of freedom of the BOLD signal after denoising is
sufficiently high? (e.g. not close to zero; you may do this either
selecting individual curves in the QC plot, or in the main CONN gui
denoising tab)
