How to consider the condition as the covariate?
Dear CONN experts,
I am currently investigating the effects of intervention on cognitive performance in relation with functional connectivity.
I have 2 groups (individuals who underwent different interventions, Ma and Mb), and each group underwent cognitive tasks before and after the intervention. Three resting-state fMRI was acquired after cognitive tasks and baseline.
So, my study design comprises of 5 conditions (baseline resting-state, cognitive task1 [C1], resting-state after C1 [P1], intervention[M], cognitive task2 [C2], resting-state after C2 [P2]).
How I can consider the baselin resting-state functional connectivity as a covariate, in this study design,??
When I make a contrast for the analysis as: "Between-subject contrast (Ma and Mb): [-1 1] / Between-condition contrast (B, P1, P2): [0 -1 1]", there is no difference from the results with the a contrast as: " Between-subject contrast (Ma and Mb): [-1 1] / Between-condition contrast (P1, P2): [0 -1 1]".
Please help me out with the contrast setting and covariates control.
Thank you a lot!
Sincereley,
