RE: CONN & Matlab Crashes During Denoising: "Illegal instruction detected" (Mac)
It is not always at the same spot. I
tried again today and denoising actually completed for whatever odd
reason. However, it clearly did not run correctly, because when I
then try to run analysis I run into this error:

This happened when I tried to run analysis JUST after running denoising. I can try running denoising again, but I am not sure how that would help. Why would denoising have given the wrong number of ROI components? How can I search for the problem (and hopefully fix it)? What other information can I provide to help?

Hard-crashes like those are some times associated with faulty hardware (e.g. memory card or storage device), but they can also appear due to other issues like the computer entering 'sleep' mode, or a hard drive becoming full or otherwise unresponsive. Is the error always happening exactly at the same point in the analysis? (if so that may also indicate some problem accessing one particular perhaps-corrupt file?)
