Thanks for the reply. I've added a large number of print statements and included MATLAB's dbstop if error debugging tool, but I'm still not sure where the issue lies. Do you know of any way I can identify/log all functions as they are called in MATLAB to explicity step through the GUI startup and find where it hangs?
