Persistent MATLAB Error: "Unable to write file: Invalid argument

I am reaching out regarding a recurring error I am encountering while using MATLAB and the CONN Toolbox. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, the problem persists. Below are the details of the error and the steps I have taken so far.

Error using save Unable to write file C:\Users\MIDASIT\OneDrive - MIDAS\Desktop\Neurocompetency_project\Korea_univ\20240509_001\20240509_001\rsfmri\rsfmri_orig.mat: Invalid argument.

Steps Taken
1. File Path and Permissions: Verified file paths, granted write permissions, and simplified directory structure.
2. Temporary Directory Changes: Redirected MATLAB’s temporary file paths to avoid conflicts.
3. Disk and File Integrity: Checked disk health, cleared space, and moved files to an SSD.
4. Reinstallation: Reinstalled MATLAB and CONN Toolbox (latest versions).

Request

I would appreciate guidance on:

Whether this is a known issue with CONN Toolbox, SPM, or MATLAB.
Additional steps to resolve .mat file saving errors.
Any environmental factors that might cause this issue.

Please let me know if further details or logs are needed. Thank you for your time and support.
