RE: Sig. Interaction, How to Extract Within-Group Effect Sizes

Hi Olivier,

The slope within groupA can be evaluated using the contrast [0 1 0 1]

and the slope within GroupB can be evaluated using the contrast [0 1 0 0]

Hope this helps

Hi there,

I ran the following seed-to-voxel analysis:
Between-Subjects:
[0 0 0 1]

[AllSubjects, CDRISC, GroupA, CDRISC*GroupA]

Conditions:
rest (one session)

One sig. interaction cluster was identified, meaning significant difference in CDRISC and connectivity values between GroupA and GroupB. In plot effects, I can see the interaction effect size. Now, I want to extract the individual effect sizes for GroupA's CDRISC & connectivity association and GroupB's CDRISC & connectivity association.

How do I modify the contrasts to provide the within-group effect sizes of this cluster? I essentially want to visualize the difference in slopes between groups for this interaction. Thanks!
