I am working with a large dataset using the job manager and parallel computing in MATLAB, and matlab crashed during the preprocessing stage. After reopening the project, I restarted the jobs that had been interrupted.

Based on my understanding, restarting the jobs should resume them from where they left off. However, I’ve noticed that the files which were created before the crash are now being modified (i.e. the files have modification dates that are later than their original creation dates). I’m concerned this might indicate the jobs are not properly resuming, but rather reprocessing parts of the data.

Is this the case?
