RE: Subject naming convention in the results or data folder

Hello everybody!

I want to map the neuroimaging data with other information of the subject such as the age, gender etc. For that the ROI timeseries denoised data (named as ROI_SubjectXXX_ConditionXXX.mat in the project/results/preprocessing folder) needs to retain the name of the raw nii file of each subject. Similarly for the first level analysis files.

Any guidance on this topic will be appreciated!

Thanks!

Any help on the said topic will be appreciated.

I tried loading the CONN_x structure and editing the gui.subjects cell. but it doesn't reflect in the results folder.

Hi Team

I am using conn_batch scripting for preprocessing of a few hundred subjects. The data files are named as subjectID.nii (both functional and anatomical)

Once the processing is done, the files in the results folders drop the original name of nii file, and instead use the Subject001 convention. This makes it difficult to map to the other information of that subject for further analysis.

Is it possible to change this naming convention using scripting options so that the original name of the nii file is retained in the results folders as well?

Thankyou!
