"Import Values" after second-level analysis

Hello,

I have a question about what exactly are the values we get from "Import Values" following second-level analysis.

I ran a seed-to-voxel analysis, with a few covariates (age, sex, etc.), and one of them being a continuous self-reported score that's the main effect. So "Between-subjects contrast" was [0 0 0 0 1], "1" being the continuous self-reported score, and "Effect of [self-report measure]".

There are some significant clusters, so I'm trying to output the connectivity values with "Import Values" for futher analysis. I've read other posts that explained these values are the raw average connectivity values for each subject between the seed and significant clusters. But when there's a main effect that's introduced in 2nd-level analysis (or simply when there's other covariates), is this main effect variable (or other covariates) accounted for in these connectivity values? If so, what exactly are these outputed values?

Thank you so much!
