Denoising: Task confound regressors and threshold for BOLD % variance by (preview brain)
Hi all,
I have a few questions about the Denoising Tab:
- Confound regressors:
- What exactly are the confound regressors in CONN?
- In the list of confounds, I also see the effects of tasks:
- Effect of condition A (2P)
- Effect of condition B (2P) ...
- Do I need to include the effects of task conditions, or should I delete them? In a different program, I run regressions without task effects, since those are the conditions of interest.
- What does the number in brackets (e.g. ā2Pā) mean?
- "BOLD % variance explained by" (with preview brain
image):
- Under the preview brain, there is a threshold. In a CONN tutorial, "0.25" was used. What does this value mean, and what threshold is typically chosen?
Thanks in advance!
