Two different sliding window analyses in the same CONN project

Hello all,

I would like to conduct two sliding windows analyses (differing in the number and duration of the windows) on the same dataset. CONN, however, seems to overwrite all conditions once new windows are defined. Is there any way I can make this work?

Thanks a lot!

RE: Two different sliding window analyses in the same CONN project

Hi Jasmin,

Yes, the simplest form is probably to create to base conditions (e.g. rest1 and rest2, both exactly equal encompassing the entire functional data) and then simply apply to each of these two conditions the 'time-decomposition' option using a different number and duration of sliding windows. You will end up with two different sets of sliding-window conditions (e.g. rest1 x Time1, rest1 x Time2, etc. as well as rest2 x Time1, rest2 x Time2, etc.) that you can then analyze separately or jointly.

Hope this helps

Alfonso
