RE: Using CONN with animal (dog and cat) MRI data
Dear Dora or Christiane (or any helper:),

Would you please share with me the preprocessing steps that you followed for animal data?
I am analyzing rat data, and although I provide already smoothed images (and remove all preprocessing steps), CONN still does some segmentation, which I don't fully trust, since I am afraid it is using a human template as a reference.

Then the 1st level results don't show anything, despite knowing that there are significant correlations there.

I am trying to run rs and fPP analyses.
Any help on how to use CONN with animal data would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!

I managed to make it work with dogs. I have read your email and I am writing a reply to you right now :-)

Hello,

does anybody has expierence with using CONN for analysing functional MRI data from animals ? (Dog and cat)

We used for the anatomical strutcture a "T1-MPRAGE" (0,7x 0,7x 0,7) and for the functional Sequences a bold-moco.

Now we have some issuses because we are not sure what preprocessing steps we need.
Do we have to isolate the brain (remove muscels, bones....)? And how can we add a brain mask für dogs and cats into CONN (because it looks for me that there is a human brain mask (white and grey matter) already added)?

Do you have perhaps a step-by-step guide or can you give us a hint what we have to do with our data =).

Thank you in advance
Christiane
