RE: Condition Setup for tasb-based functional connectvity with conditions.mat

Hi Ayah

This may be a bit tedious (it will take a few minutes) but what I would do would be:

1) import the condition information using the 'conditions tool' (that will result in 8 conditions, each aggregating across the two sessions)

2) for each individual condition, click on that condition and:

2.1) rename this condition to *_session1 (e.g. a condition named 'taskA' would be renamed to 'taskA_session1')

2.2) select all of the subjects in the 'subjects list', select 'session 2' in the 'sessions' list, and then select the option that reads 'condition is not present in selected session(s)'

(then repeat 2.1 and 2.2 for each of the 8 conditions)

3) then repeat once again both steps 1 & 2 (import and rename/edit), now renaming the new 8 conditions to *_session2 and selecting 'session 1' in the sessions list before selecting the option 'condition is not present in the selected session(s)'

After this you should have 16 conditions, 8 _session1 conditions which only span blocks/events within session1 and 8 _session2 conditions within session2.

Hope this helps

Alfonso

Hi Alfonso,

I am still stuck at the same problem, and I was wondering if you, or anyone else, has a solution for it:

I am conducting a gPPI analysis with two groups and two sessions. Each session contains 8 conditions, and I have one SPM-compatible conditions.mat file in each subject's/session's folder. However, when I load the conditions via the Conditions Tool, they are not separated by session, which is essential for testing the intervention effect.

Ultimately, I need to create 16 conditions (8 conditions × 2 sessions). Is there a way to load these conditions separately for each session, either through the GUI or using a batch script? I have already completed the preprocessing step.

I would be very grateful for any tips or suggestions on how to resolve this issue.

Thank you in advance for your help!
