I totally second the suggestion of installing a dual boot Linux on your PC. I however think that an ubuntu machine would be a smarter move than fedora. This is because of the neurodebian project :

Thanks to this great initiative, once your ubuntu is up and running, getting AFNI, FSL and a huge variety of neuroimaging software is only a couple of clicks away. I hope this helps,
