  I thank you so much for all of your help!  I checked in with the Ubuntu discussion board and it seems as though others are having the same issue but have yet to be able to get a solution.  I like Ubuntu and would like to stay with it, but now I tried to use the Wubi feature and everything seems to be working fine, allows me to pick between my two OS's and it reads "Missing MBR-Helper".  Have any idea how to fix that, so I can get it to run.
