Yes, that is a good point. Your analyses are perfectly correct and they should give you exactly the same results as any of the two alternative approaches within the conn toolbox.

From the FC second level results I got the individual subjects conn images and loaded them in SPM paired sample t-test comparing pre>post(1 -1) and pre>post (-1 1). Is this right?
Will it give the same resuts as what you suggested?
