Thanks for the helpful response! I am a little confused about how to actually examine the negative connectivity. In particular, I'm interested in how to carry this out using SPM8. So if I have all of the fisher-transformed correlation values for each subject/condition/seed combination from the values in "conn_*/results/firstlevel/BETA_Subject#_Condition#_Source#.img", and enter these into a flexible factorial model in SPM8, how do I examine whether there are significant changes in negative connectivity between sessions (significant effect of time)?
