Dear Jian,
Sorry about this error. It is indeed a bit strange, could you please double-check that your aparc.*.txt is readable (there are no permission or corruption issues if you simply open this file in a text editor)? If everything seems fine please send me one example of your aparc.*.txt file to see if I can figure out the source of the problem
