this seems to be a tiff error. It indicates that your data is somehow corrupted, which might happen, for instance, when saving data to a remote storage. There's not much we can do this time...

BTW, why do you need to convert to tiled 2D tiff? It's the worst choice: hard (or even impossible) to move data (too many files), slow to read, slow to write...use tiled 3D tiff instead.
